Why cover your yoga blocks?
We at the ASEEM Team are excited to introduce you to a brand-new yoga product on the market.
After months of research we have found that yoga students are concerned with sharing yoga blocks in community studios, especially those attending hot yoga classes. We have also found numerous studies with supporting evidence that many of the surfaces we touch in gym environments are covered in the Rhino Virus (AKA. Common Cold) along with a variety of other harmful viruses and bacteria such as: HPV, E. Coli, Seasonal Influenza, Candida, Staph and even MRSA.
Many yoga studios provide yoga blocks to help with alignment and support for your poses throughout your practice. In most cases, these blocks are stored in a closet or on shelves for everyone to use and are not cleaned or wiped down prior to using them, making these props the perfect petri dishes for germs.
Throughout a class, sweat falls on these yoga blocks as students balance and sit on them. And hot yoga classes turn up the heat so students sweat even more.
And after class? The blocks go back on shelf for the next student.
Wouldn't a cover be nice?
We at ASEEM have created the first original luxury and hygienic option to protect anyone from everyone else’s germs so you can have peace of mind throughout your yoga experience every time you rest your head or hands on our product.
